Starting July 1, 2016, the New Mexico Administrative Code will update all new rules, repeals and amendments within seven days of those rules becoming effective, as published in the New Mexico Register.
Prior to July 1, 2016, the New Mexico Administrative Code website was updated once a month before the 15th of the month. All new rules, repeals, and amendments that took effect the previous month were loaded at that time. For example: rules that go into effect in January are loaded onto the website before the 15th of February and those that go into effect in February are loaded before the 15th of March. The date of the most recent update is located on the front page of the NMAC website. Occasionally and as need arises, special or supplemental updates were loaded onto the website. See the History of NMAC Updates for specific details and to review all updates that have been completed.
Prior to being placed on the NMAC website, new rules, repeals, and amendments can be found in the New Mexico Register, which is the official publication for all notices of rulemaking and filings of adopted, proposed, and emergency rules in New Mexico. It is available online at www.nmcpr.state.nm.us/nmregister.
